MEDEK stands for the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (Mesleki Eğitim Değerlendirme ve Akreditasyon Derneği). The Association was established in 2021.

In 2023, the Association was authorized by the Higher Education Quality Council of Türkiye (YÖKAK) to conduct accreditation processes for 83 associate degree programs at vocational schools, evaluating their compliance with established academic standards, quality criteria, and performance indicators.
