Students of the Food Technology Program participated in a technical visit to Birsan Birlik Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş. to enhance their professional knowledge and gain hands-on experience in the food industry.
The technical visit, coordinated by Lecturer Yasemen Öztürken, provided students with the opportunity to observe food production processes and industrial applications firsthand. Company representatives introduced the students to the various stages of production, quality control procedures, hygiene standards, packaging operations, and storage processes, offering valuable insights into modern food manufacturing practices.
Through this practical learning experience, students reinforced the theoretical knowledge acquired in their coursework by observing its application in a real industrial setting. Throughout the visit, they also gained a better understanding of the technologies used in food production, production management, and the organizational structure of a food processing enterprise.
The technical tour served as an important opportunity for students to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice, contributing to their career development and industry awareness.
