Responsibilities of Academic Advisors

Academic advisors are responsible for guiding students throughout their educational journey and supporting their academic and personal development. Their main responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting students in planning their academic studies in accordance with the relevant university regulations throughout their education.
  2. Guiding students during course registration and registration renewal by helping them select the required compulsory and elective courses, advising them on curriculum adjustments (course equivalencies), and ensuring that they complete all courses required for graduation.
  3. Reviewing students' academic performance and approving semester or annual course registrations accordingly.
  4. Providing guidance on adapting to university life, professional development, and career planning.
  5. Supporting students in identifying and resolving academic or personal issues that may affect their educational progress.
